Adlerian Parenting strategies will be taught and practiced. The Crucial C's and the mistaken goals of behaviors will be explained and practiced. The difference between temper tantrums and meltdowns will be discussed. Participants will share what works and difficulties encountered with children of all ages.

Sonia Hinds, APRN, PMH-BC, RPT-S is the Founder and CEO of Chesapeake Beach Professional Seminars. Founder and Executive Director of Barstow Acres Children's Center, a non-profit practice providing children and families mental health services. Ms. Hinds is trad in Child-Centered and Gestalt play therapy with Violet Oakland (retired). Authored chapter, Play Therapy with African-American Village in text, Cultural Issues in Play Therapy, edited by Eliana Gil, Ph.D, RPT-S, and Athena Drewes, Psy.D, RPT-S. Ms. Hinds is the recipient of the MD/DC APT 2019 Outstanding Service Award.
